Domain Issues (More Analog Horror)

OK, so we have domain issues today at Joski, which sucks. The website domain is changing into joski.ca, but changing a domain name causes a lot of problems. I’m not sure how many people will be able to access my blog today, and for that reason, I don’t want to steer too far into another topic and have my readers miss out on some other cool thing that has grabbed my attention!

So let’s continue with some more Analog horror (with a side of creepypasta).

I went for a deep dive yesterday into the subgenre and found some fantastic stuff that branched into video games (I’m excited to share some of that later this week!). If you want to see more Analog horror stuff, check out Eventide Media Center. The Youtube channel is a slow burn, but it fits right into the genre with those 90s Satellite TV vibes. There’s a light coming from the ocean out in Misty Point:

If you enjoyed yesterday’s blog, but are looking for something with a quicker pace, you have to watch LOCAL58TV on Youtube. Check out the first episode (this one gives me the creeps):

Kris Straub created that, and if you don’t know who that is, he’s the guy behind the infamous “Candle Cove” creepypasta. It’s a personal favorite that has always stuck with me since I was back in High School.

It tells the story of an adult reminiscing about an eerie children’s TV show he used to watch as a kid back in his hometown. It’s pretty short, and I don’t want to spoil anything because you should just read it. Check it out HERE; it’s a fun read.

If you could access my website today, I hope you enjoyed a continuation of yesterday’s content. I think I may dedicate one or two days a week to the creepier side of the internet, but we’ll see what everyone thinks.

Anyways, it’s getting late, and I wanted to go for a drive hours ago. Google Maps keeps recommending me this “Great View” spot. I think I’ll check it out.

Have a great night.

  1. Hey, just wanted to point out as well that Kris Straub also had a years long run on Acquisitions Incorporated: The C Team. He played a warlock with a personality in the same vein as the horror stuff. He even had a tentacle familiar named “Ligotti”.

    Cheers!
